I design for simplicity and for people. I tell stories that balance heart and craft, and lean on a multi-disciplinary toolkit to lead teams toward problems worth solving and futures worth building.

As the first designer from Airbnb’s global team to establish design presence in China, I evolved from IC to hands-on design lead and team manager—scaling from 0→1 locally and expanding into global markets.

See the Unseen (China outbound) — Drove 0→1 product innovation as cross-functional DRI, merging global Categories with a localized, full-screen discovery experience.
Nearby Gems (Japan) — Led from concept to launch, introducing an interactive map blending inspiration and search.
Guest Loyalty Program (China) — Defined system architecture and end-to-end experience, including visual identity aligned with Airbnb’s design system.

Google
Interaction Designer
Team · Android · Project Fi Dec 2014 – Dec 2015 · 1 yr Mountain View, US
0→1 product builder
I joined the Google Android team as the first Interaction Designer on Project Fi, helping bring a new kind of global virtual carrier from 0→1.
From onboarding and service subscription to account management and device purchase, I shaped the end-to-end experience for a mobile connectivity product built from the ground up.
Inside a small, fast-moving UX team, I helped define the core flows and translate a complex carrier system into something clear, calm, and easy to use.
I also contributed iconography and illustration to Material Design, bringing a little more clarity and delight into functional interactions.
Alongside product work, I supported XX+UX (now Hexagon), a Google initiative for Women in UX, designing its first web presence and helping launch the mentorship program.
Trulia
Visual UX Designer
Sep 2013 – Dec 2014 · 1 yr 3 mos San Francisco, US
0→1 craft builder
My first design role was at Trulia, where I worked as a Visual UX Designer within a close-knit and highly creative team.
Across the product, I designed and shipped consumer-facing features including the adaptive homepage, dynamic home feed, global navigation, collaborative home boards, mortgage flows, map overlays, and site plugins.
A lot of the work touched early explorations of personalized and data-driven experiences, shaping more intuitive and engaging home discovery journeys.
During quarterly “Innovation Weeks,” I collaborated with cross-functional teammates to prototype new ideas, including Thoth Dashboard, an internal data visualization tool that won the Most Popular Award.
Alongside product work, I supported internal design initiatives, creating visual systems for company-wide promotion and equity refresh communications.
